Montesano May 14 reports indicate the Chehalis County Timber & Logging company plans to incorporate as a common carrier railroad to extend from its Northern Pacific connection toward the Chehalis river above Montesano to ship lumber to mills and join Northern Pacific tracks. The move aims to enable freight charges and right of way condemnation, with rapid construction expected and implications for local mills and river traffic.
Reward will be paid for accurate information about any trespass or timber cutting on lands described in Chehalis county. The description mentions sections and a reference to two sec of ew 1-4, with further details implied by the damaged OCR text.
