City officials mull a curfew ordinance that makes parents or guardians responsible for their children's violations. The proposal would treat parental neglect as a misdemeanor and require officers to enforce the curfew under threat of forfeiture of office.

City of Aberdeen grants Robert Lowry and assigns a 25 year franchise to construct maintain and operate a call and messenger service over streets and alleys. Wires must be elevated to at least thirty feet and only one pole line per street. Courts damages rights preserved. Three call boxes to be provided free.
