New Pacific Hotel Planned for Aberdeen Corner
Robt Lowry traveled to Seattle with plans for a new Pacific hotel to sit on the southeast corner of Heron and I streets. Designed by C S Torkelson Hoquiam the three story building would cover 100 by 130 feet and offer nearly 100 rooms. The scheme reuses the current corner structure and moves the existing Pacific hotel to the alley edge forming part of the new hotel with a drug store corner rental and a large central lobby. The hotel would be publicly modern with electric lighting steam heat interior courtyard ventilation separate baths and multiple closets per floor.
