President Finch of the Grays Harbor Oyster Company clarifies reports about oyster shipments. He states only 86 bags valued at 125 dollars were sent to San Francisco on the steamer Imman instead of 300 bags worth 1 500 dollars. Beds at South Bay hold about 2 000 dollars of oysters now, not 8 000, and proceeds will fund bed expansion with more seed.
