New Laws in Effect From 1905 Washington Legislature
Washington voters mark the ninetieth day after adjournment as new laws go into effect. Provisions include railways weighing lumber cars and cargo devices, cash wages, licensing and restrictions on alcohol, livestock fencing rules, labor and plumbing commissions, coyote and wolf bounty, milk and food labeling, and various tax, banking, and wildlife regulations. Several ships and barges depart or arrive for San Francisco, San Pedro, and Santa Rosalia as the harbor activity continues.
