Annual Picnic Great Success in Grays Harbor
About three thousand people from Aberdeen and Hoquiam attended the sixth annual Grocers and Butchers picnic at Moclips. Special trains carried merrymakers. highlight included a Bur-f riding exhibition by eight Quinault Indians and a busy beach scene with dancing and rides. Prizes were awarded across multiple races, contests, and team events, ending with notable winners in baseball, tug-of-war, foot races, and family contests.
