Social notes from Olympia and Elma mention visits and a hand injury

Dr Mowell of Olympia visited Elma to consult Dr Blair about Mrs Jessup. Mrs Audley Payne returned to Olympia after visiting friends in Elma. Mrs Belle Vaughn of Oakville visited Mrs Sam Wray who is seriously ill. Miss Frank Elder returned home to Seattle after a month with Miss Monna Herriman in this city. Miss Mary Dobson was briefly ill but returned to work at Dr French's hospital. Mrs Anna Wray helped at the Wray home from Hoquiam. The three year old son of Chas Roderick of Fords Prairie nearly cut off his left middle finger in a hay rake gear. Miss Margaret McMillan, a Tacoma nurse, returned to Tacoma after tending the late Mrs Osborne. Joseph Lynch of Satsop, previously at Dr French's hospital after foot amputation, was discharged.

Junior Prom Highlights Aberdeen High School Season

End of the first semester features a Junior Prom held last Saturday night with about seventy five juniors and friends chaperoned by the preceptress. The gymnasium was decorated in school colors and pennants including the 08 class pennant presented as a souvenir.
