W. J. Hubbard died of kidney disease January 30 at age 34. His funeral was held yesterday at Bowes Randolph parlors under the Cigar Makers’ Union, with Rev. C. McDermoth presiding and the Christian church choir providing music. Hubbard had recently moved to Aberdeen after losing his San Francisco property and was once president of the Salt Lake City Cigar Makers’ Union.
