The Associated Banks of Chehalis county met Friday and began retiring clearing house certificates. The one and two dollar notes will be called in first with larger denominations following, as county banks enter a cash basis after waiting for actions in larger cities.

The plant offers services from pamphlets to blank books with new machinery and a premium ruling machine on the coast. They invite the public to inspect the plant at 83 34 Wishkah Block.
Senators Piles and Ankeny asked the treasury department to verify rumors that the Grays Harbor customs headquarters would be moved from Aberdeen. The department denied any such plan and found no foundation for the rumor at all.
