J J Donovan of the Bloedel Donovan company forecasts a broad commercial upturn as mills and camps resume operation. Whatcom Falls mill to run 200 workers next Monday, Geneva camp 55, Larson mill 250 on January 4, Alger camp 110, and Bellingham waterfront mills 140 before January 15. Purdy of First National Bank expects stronger business and earlier upturn with the restart.

The Henry T. Scott of the Sudden Christensen line arrived Saturday from the Atlantic coast with anthracite and forge coal from Lehigh valleys. Fifty tons go to Hoquiam and Aberdeen for Grays Harbor Steve Dore Co. and 100 tons to the same firm at Aberdeen, plus 50 tons forge coal for F G Foster Co. The ship, with about 1 500 000 feet capacity, will load lumber at Aberdeen mills for New York and Boston.

Bullet Located In Finn Halmar Sunblad Neck
Halmar Sunblad a Finn injured in the Finn Greek melee Christmas night was found to have a bullet lodged in the back of his neck at Aberdeen General Hospital after x rays failed. Doctors extracted the bullet from between the vertebrae noting it had been deflected by the backbone and traveled upward.
