Labor Day Doings in Grays Harbor Plans and Parade
The Grays Harbor Trades and Labor Council has arranged Labor Day events for Monday September 2 including a city parade led by marshals George Gibson and aides from Aberdeen and Hoquiam. A morning parade starts 9:30 with unions assembling in Aberdeen, followed by exercises at the Grand Theatre and a park dinner. Events include running races, wheelbarrow and sack races, a pole climb, a girls race, a tug of war, and a baseball game with cash prizes.
