Aberdeen will see a salmon cannery opening by the Pacific Fisheries company led by G P Hafferty D J Halferty and James W Parks. The venture will operate with Sea Beac h Packing to process clams in spring and salmon in other seasons using automatic sanitary cans and a 12 000 case daily capacity with about 100 workers.
