A concert and dance at Stratton school Friday evening supported the Prisoners of War Fund. Proceeds of 68.75 were sent to the Wonten institute of Upper Sump. Children performed well with four girls dancing the Right and Pliny. A three story fruit cake sold for 27.00 to Mr. J Tomas, who planned to fund refreshments for later dancing. The event ended with God Save the King.

Reverend F L Millar attended the Vancouver prohibition convention. Price reports show scarce local feed and cow prices, with farmers turning to oil cake. Cooper Seldon Co installed a grain machine at Clayburn station for seed.
