Pruning Schools Announced by Department of Agriculture
The Department of Agriculture will hold pruning schools this winter with an expert instructor paid by the department. Local bodies like the Farmers' Institute or Fruit Growers' Association will guarantee eight to twelve pupils at two dollars each for ten three hour lessons over five days. If demand warrants, two schools may operate with a sixteen to twenty four pupil guarantee.
