Abbeville readers hear about kidneys and how they filter blood with stories like Mrs. Georgia Pilts of Laurens reporting backache dizziness and nervous weariness eased by Doan's Kidney Pills. She praises relief after using the remedies purchased from Foster Milburn Co. Buffalo New York, price 50 cents, agents nationwide.
Local notice promotes Laxative Fruit Syrup as easy to take no gripe or nausea. Claims to cure stomach and liver troubles. Also advertises farm supplies including bagging and ties barbed wire seed oats barley rye and onion sets. Link.

A Timely Resolution from Abbeville County and state delegates opposes Night Riders threats to farmers. The resolution orders publication in Abbeville and statewide newspapers and mailing to the Governor, Clerk of Court, and Sheriff. It condemns violence and demands support for lawful farming interests.
The notice promises cash or trade for every $10 in checks and a free $18 doll on December 23 to the Soil presenting the largest total check amount. It also counts collection checks for accounts paid by December 23 in the race for the doll.

Purchaser pays for papers.
