Death of Mr W C Cromer at his daughter's home
Mr W C Cromer died September 4 1920 at 9 o clock in Abbeville County North Main Street Mon day at his daughter Mrs W F Nickles home after months of declining health. Funeral services were held at Ebenezer Church at four o'clock with Rev W H Murray and Rev C E Peele officiating. Interment followed in the adjoining cemetery. Cromer born March 1850 was a prosperous farmer. Survived by nine children five sons and four daughters, three brothers, one sister and a widow. He was a lifelong Methodist and a quiet man respected by neighbors.
