Calhoun Falls Struck by Storm Damages Several Churches
A February storm heavily damaged multiple churches in Calhoun Falls, including the Methodist church and the Episcopal building which was destroyed, with a second Episcopalian church blown from its piers. Misses Sara and Mary Haigler came home Tuesday from Coker College to spend their summer vacation. Miss Helen Haigler went down to Coker last week and accompanied her sisters home.
