Three Americans Killed Near Gibson Line Ranch
Three Americans including two women and one man were shot and killed near Gibson's line ranch on the New Mexico border eight miles west of Columbus. Douglas residents who reached the scene after soldiers removed the bodies reported the slayings occurred between 4 and 5 pm Wednesday. A U.S. troop unit at Gibson ranch crossed the border in pursuit of the attackers. Victims named by Douglas automobilists were Samuel Collins, Russell T.
