State approves Dover Junction feeble minded training school

Washington reports that after war driven growth the U S flag fleet now accounts for nearly one fifth of world seagoing tonnage and carries US products worldwide. The fleet includes 351 freighters 84 freight and passenger ships 71 oil tankers 230 sailing vessels and 16 others totaling 1 961 39 gross tons with major trade to Atlantic Pacific Caribbean and other regions. When military ships return to the board the fleet will expand by 1 878 251 gross tons to 3 834 750 gross tons.

A Hero's Home Coming Kemp ton Billings Returns From France
Kempton Billings arrives in New York from France on the sixth, writes his parents that he is well except for knee pain when moving. He will go to Camp Gordon hospital soon, allowing his family to visit. He served as a bugler in the 118th Infantry and was severely wounded in both legs in heavy fighting.
