At a council meeting on Tuesday Abbeville approved an 8000 loan at 7 percent to Abbeville County Memorial Hospital to finish construction buy equipment and attract patients. Washington January 12 The Treasury secretary warned that a new liberty loan would be needed if Congress embarks on large expenditures or cuts the tax base.
