Woman's Service League Gifts 112 Christmas Packets to Red Cross
The Woman's Service League completed a Red Cross gift of 112 Christmas Packets for service members at home and abroad with 40 packed in November and 72 handed to the local Red Cross on December 10. Packets include a pad, envelopes, pencil, gum, chocolate, tobacco, cigarette papers, a fruit cake, wrapped in a khaki handkerchief with safety pins and a red ribbon, and a Christmas card.
