D. A. P. Jordan of Greenwood was found dead in his bed at noon after authorities determined a cerebral hemorrhage induced by Bright's disease caused his death. He was about 50, unmarried, and a leading figure as president of Grendel Mills and vice president of the City Bank with multiple directorships. Burial in City Cemetery planned for Tuesday. he leaves substantial securities and two brothers and three sisters.
