Ginners Report Shows Large Cotton Ginned by December
The ginners report issued Monday morning records 9 563 124 bales ginned to December fat with last year at 704 000 bales, about 150 000 more than this year. The crop remains short and further declines are expected ahead of government estimates due Wednesday. Cotton opened down about 30 points then partially recovered.
