Annual Meeting of Abbeville Bible Society
The Ninety sixth annual meeting of the Abbeville District Bible Society met at the Presbyterian Church in Abbeville South Carolina. Dr J I McCain opened with devotion and reports from auxiliary societies were read with totals including $9 50 from the sermon collection and $181 00 from the Abbeville Society. Delegates were named from several societies and life members elected as Mrs George White Sr Mrs Fannie J Long and Dr H Mc Murray. The constitution was amended to allow annual meeting time and place to be set by the Board of Directors. A $150 appropriation was approved for life memberships.
