Wattle Day Appeal For Consumptives In Tasmania
The Tasmanian Wattle League asks public aid on Friday September 10 for the Tasmanian Sanatorium aiding consumptives. The sanatorium hosts patients from Elobert Lawneeston Wallamans Deloraine Macquarie Plain Wingerooms Cygnut Maryland and other Tasmanian ports with only limited funds for care and food. The deficit for the year totals about £3000 with about 11 percent of patients arrested in some way.
