Yorkton Citizen Who Has Met The Kaiser First Hand

Yorkton citizen Mr William Barrow recalls meeting Kaiser Wilhelm II during 1907 travels across England and Scotland. Barrow, then an employee of the North Eastern railway system, describes the Kaiser’s visits, the royal party, and the elaborate arrangements at Lowther Castle and surrounding estates. He also notes the Kaiser’s short stature and distinctive mustache and recounts the camera-heavy entourage and reception events.
