Yorkton citizen Mr William Barrow recalls meeting Kaiser Wilhelm II during 1907 travels across England and Scotland. Barrow, then an employee of the North Eastern railway system, describes the Kaiser’s visits, the royal party, and the elaborate arrangements at Lowther Castle and surrounding estates. He also notes the Kaiser’s short stature and distinctive mustache and recounts the camera-heavy entourage and reception events.
A large shipment of fat cattle highlighted the district's sustained leadership in livestock. Sixty six cars of cattle arrived at Winn for slaughter, indicating ample feed and no shortage in supply.
The Horticultural Society reports on the best garden for the Prairie Nursery prize. Five gardens entered with scores, led by Dr. Larmeer at 1171 points.
