Ymir Mine Strike Yields High Grade Ore for Milling
At the Ymir mine a rich vich ore from the 500 foot level is milled and shipped crude. It is believed to average 25 per ton with September returns likely higher than in the past two to three years. Ore from numbers five and new east drift extractions are noted, and the west drift on the 1000 level will extend to reach the lower level ore.
The Cost of the Fire and Road Repairs
The repair of Velhos stone road at Sakno costs about 1000 dollars to the Government.
