Canada’s Exhibit at the St Louis Exposition
The Canadian section at St Louis occupies Sections 54 and 64 at the north end of the Palace of Mines and Metallurgy. The display covers minerals from across Canada with banners claiming vast shares of world production in asbestos mica corundum nickel coal and copper. It features large mica books from Quebec Ontario and British Columbia samples of feldspar quartz and lithographic stone and a gold nugget display valued at 40 000 from the Yukon under a protective panel. The exhibit is directed by Mr. R L Broadbent and supported by maps and a forthcoming pamphlet.
