Detention of Cattle Case at Wingham Police Court
In a December 23 1938 hearing at Wingham Police Court Charles Cameron and Rex Hicks faced allegations over five head of cattle including a Red Devon helper a Bally heifer and a Devon-Durham cross steer. Testimony from Albert Edwards and others described cattle branding tagging roundups at The Quarry Paddock Cedar Greek and Rowleys River with accusations Hicks kept possession despite notices of demand and Cameron claiming ownership of the stock.
