Remedies for headaches back ache neuralgia and many ailments are blamed on poor food and exhausted nerves. The ad claims Nerve Nuts purify nourish the blood and strengthen eye nerve fire with a prescription from an eminent nerve specialist and prepared by a chemist of over five years experience. It asserts the nuts tone the system and dispel neurasthenic pains.
A Tepleto tourist guide from the Taree and Wingham Tourist Association offers concise descriptions for beauty spots from Bart Macquarie to Hastings River. It includes simple directions and how to obtain copies from Fitzpatrick's News Agency in Wingham at 1 shilling per copy.

Turner and Hill report three lots of fine pigs at Wingham on Friday at good market rates, 109 pigs totaling £581. Cattle yarding on the same day was large but prices fell with many lots passed in. notable sales include 3 cows at £4 15s, 8 feeders at £3 176d, and 1 cow and calf at £11 10s 8d. Private sale activity noted with bullocks at £18.
The annual meeting of M R D Hospital subscribers was held at Turco Literary Institute. President M Ahronson announced the scrutineers report listing votes for numerous candidates and noting 231 papers returned from about 600 sent, with 19 informal and 2023 to be counted. The meeting adjourned after thanks were given to scrutineers and committee members.
