Country Women’s Assn Wingham Branch Honors Sister Cheal
Members of the Country Women’s Association Wingham Branch met at the Rest Rooms on Thursday February 14 1885 to bid farewell to Sister Cheal who is moving to district. Mrs Moxey and Mrs Hill presented a formal pen and sprig bouquet. Miramith added best wishes and a souvenir posy in a pretty shape. Miss Cheal thanked helpers and noted the nice gift while regretting departure. A dainty afternoon tea followed and the program closed with Auld Laye Byne.
