Upper Manning A H Association Holds February Meeting
A meeting of the Upper Manning A H Association was held at the Wingham School of Arts on Friday night in February 1924. President W F Summerville presided with officers and members including B Johnston H Abbot HK Crow W Crom AW Andrews T W Gideon Moora AM Murray Irvine W Wamsley J Kane K Lyon Batell DR Waddall John T Bird G Gollan Flem ming J B Richardson and GO UL secretary. The minutes were read and confirmed. Discussions covered invitations to the Marlee Agricultural Show and a publican’s booth at the Wingham show, show prize donations, hall space for jewellery display, gates and weights, working bees, and plans for a Rabbit Suppression District Association. Future meetings set for stock matters. Mr A Moore elected chairman and a request to appoint a rabbit inspector was discussed.
