State Chamber Dissolved and Star Chamber Authority Repealed
A 17th century act declares the Star Chamber and its judges stripped of power from August 1 1641. It forbids high officers and councils from hearing or determining any matter in the court. Repeals extend to marches Wales Lancaster duchy and Chester exchequer, voiding prior jurisdiction and related laws.
