Foot Amputation After Circular Saw Accident
Robert Meacham a well known Te nora resident lost his left foot seven inches above the ankle when it was caught in a circular saw at a son’s sawmill five miles from Te mor. He remained conscious, a tourniquet was applied, and he was taken to The Patriot Hospital where the foot was amputated. He is related to Fred, John and Albert Meacham of West Wyalgue and has visited the district frequently.
