Obituary of Nis Aany Allen of Tallimba

Nis Aany Allen of Tallimba died in Wyalong and District Hospital on March mth, aged 66. She lived with Mrs C Rymer, Tallimba, for three years. Born Cooktown, she married Captain Henry Mawer Allen, master mariner, who predeceased her 15 years ago. Survived by son Loch Allen in the AIF. Suspension of Labor Conditions Granted in Gibsonvale Case

John Henning of Krkolra applied to the Mining Warden in the War den's Court at West Wyalong for a four month suspension of labor conditions on his mining lease at Gibsonvale. Grounds cited were difficulty in obtaining suitable labor and that tin would not pay for labor. The presiding Warden Mr. M S Meagher granted the application.

Gymkhana and sports at Tullibigeal

Tullibigeal will be feted on Monday April 2 with a gymkhana and sports event organized by the Women's Voluntary Service Patriotic Fund and BNA.
