Obituary Arthur Henman Former Harmedman resident dies in Sydney Hospital
Arthur Henman a longtime Harmedman district figure died recently in Sydney Hospital after a brief illness. He was aged and survived by daughters Mrs. F A Taylor and Mrs. D B Kempion and Mrs. W Bailey and sons Fred and A G Henman. Born in Yorkshire England he came to Australia in 1861 worked timber contracts for New South Wales Railways then dairy farmer at Glen Innes before moving to Harmedman to develop Pine Valley. He married Ann Pollard in Victoria in 1858. He was a keen spectator at the last Barmedman show.
