Wemen entered Grace r’s shop on Saturday night and demanded the proprietor see them. They claimed to be members of a police starting price squad and offered immunity from police activity for a fortnight. They seized 677 13 from the WIL and fled. The owner and his son pursued and captured the robbers, taking them to Rozelle police station where charges were preferred.
A car in Sydney on Monday crashed through the window of a Parramatta chop shop after veering to avoid another vehicle. Passersby and officers from the Ambulance Brigade treated the injured on the spot before they were admitted to hospital.
