Presbyterian Fair Opens At Empire Hall To Aid Church Funds

The Presbyterian Fair at Empire Hall began Friday night and continued Saturday with stalls filled by local ladies. A large crowd attended the opening and on Saturday, cooking and fancy work competitions drew keen rivalries. The food stalls, flower and fancy stalls, and produce displays attracted many visitors, while Miss Tuey Taylor and Miss Vera Harvey led stalls with assistance from several helpers. The event featured orchestral music by Theobald's orchestra and offered home made sweets, cakes, and various confections, with proceeds supporting church funds.

Theory of Cyclical Recurrence in Weather Forecast

Inigo Jones argues that solar activity governs climate cycles and droughts. He traces sun spot history, notes 11 to 12 year solar cycles, and proposes planetary electromagnetic actions shape regional weather patterns for long-term prediction.
