Wellington Times in Wellington, New South Wales

Fragmented comic dialogue and wartime letters excerpt

A jumble of stage dialogue and diary fragments appears, including a girl calling for help, a man offering odd advice, and lines about champagne and temperance. It shifts to a soldier writing home, brief war reminiscences, and a gag about a New York clerk in golf, ending with humorous snippets and aphorisms.
