Hospital Dance at Mayfair draws 80 couples for Wellington appeal

About 80 couples attended a Mayfair Theatre dance to raise funds for the Wellington District Hospital. A total of £17 was collected at the doors. Winners included Mr. and Mrs. McKay for the fifty years and over category, and Mr. Si Potts with Jean Cobb for the younger section. Miss Georgeott and Mr. Feeley won the Stork Derby. Mrs. Cobbora Road Trophy went to Mr. Motley at Maryvale.

Drunk Passenger Fined After Air Journey Incident
