Notes on United States race and drink in America

A described view by Brownbill after a US trip notes the racial question mainly in the South with segregation and Ku Klux Klan fears. It cites Harlem’s 260000 Black residents, compares toleration in the North, mentions Prohibition era worries affecting White support, and sketches social roles for Black Americans amid evolving attitudes. Also reports on Wall Street boom era wealth, motor car sales, and American interest in boxing, swimming, and tennis.
