Wellington District Hospital Directors Review Funds and Board Size
The Wellington District Hospital Directors met on Monday night to discuss a £500 loan requiring mortgage and Commissioner's consent, and to plan the annual Hospital Ball. They approved a 16 member board with a six member quorum, debated sub section 2 details, and noted donations from Toohey's Ltd and T Edwards. The treasurer reported £217 0s 7d in credit, with old accounts paid and current accounts to be settled as funds allow. The contributory scheme was discussed, aiming for wider public awareness and more contributors, with £24 2s 6d collected from 120 contributors so far.
