smash defeat of Langism rocks state election vote

After a fortnight of campaigning the state election produced a landslide for the United Parties, unseating Lang forces across the state. Wellington and Dubbo districts swung heavily to UC P candidates McClelland Wilson and O’Shea, with strong showings for other UC P figures. Labour efforts collapsed as voters backed the new government in towns from Dubbo to Wellington and across rural electorates. Count totals and booth results indicate a comprehensive state wide shift away from Lang governance.
