Wool Market Outlook and Sale Dates in Sydney
The Country Producers' Selling Co. Ltd. reports that the concluding appraisements in Sydney for the current season will commence on the 9th and run to the 20th inst. An estimated 57,400 bales of growers' wool will be submitted for this period with selling dates on the 26th and 27th inst. About 3,500 bales will be offered during those dates. Shearing is active in north western and western areas with large consignments expected. The north western clips, the bulk of the catalogue, are not in the same fine condition due to storms and adverse growing season. Overall, wools are expected to be shorter in bulk and length, dustier, but potentially higher in quality and with less fault.
