Scattered Humour From a Troubled Inn and Town

A miscellany of muddled dialogue and comic sketches recounts travelers arguing over a room, a cab fare dispute ending with a coin toss, a trainee at a gatehouse answering oddly, a trainee fortuitously saving machinery, and a sentiment about classroom time telling. Included are village life snippets, a church charity tale with a misbehaving boy, and a mother correcting playmate choices amid old fashioned manners.
