At Wellington Hall the No 12 Group Council discussed sideshow control and groveled to reform after the Dubbo Show incident. A five member committee was formed to investigate and report to the October Sydney conference. Members: Whiteley Wellington Murray Bathurst Clarke Dubbo Pascoe Orange Godwin Narromine. The Dubbo Show affair saw the Sideshowmen's Guild boycott and move tents, diverting crowds from the show.

Eight Polo and Four Polo Crosse Teams for Wellington Carnival
Wellington Polo Club will host a two day polo carnival at the Show and Sports Ground next Thursday and Friday featuring eight polo teams and four polo crosse teams. Local A and B grade squads compete for the Wellington and District Cup and Wilson Cup, with visiting teams from Narromine Byroe Mudgee and Ingleburn. Captain Lester Smith hopes to recover in time to play, while non-members may view the games free after bringing their own lunch.
