Shire employee killed in road accident
William Walter Trudgett age 45 of Farnham was killed when a Shire Counc truck driven by Ede Young of Wellington ran out of control on a steep hill. Both men jumped clear. Trudgett was run over by the rear wheels. The truck, carrying gravel, stopped after 180 yards. Young sustained bruises and shock and returned home. Constable Cooper leads inquiries.

They noted 38 financial members, praised officers, and discussed a proposed hospital resuscitator costing about 300 pounds and a Showground urn costing 88 pounds.
