Reginald James Rey, 23, of Muswell Street Wellington, pleaded guilty to a charge of offensive behaviour. The Stipendiary Magistrate, Mr J G Cobley, noted prior convictions for assaulting police and common assault. Rey was fined £3 and given one month to pay. Police evidence showed the incident followed a fight with his brother in Warnest on February the defendant claimed it was not entirely his fault and that he had tried to avoid drinking.
