Mrs Merton Hinton celebrated a ninety birthday at the home of her grandson Alf Hinton in Wellington Hawkins Street. Relatives and friends from Molong and Sydney attended a seven pm repast and a two deck cake with ninety candles. Speeches by Alf Hinton and Roger Hinton honored the celebrant who was born Miss Merron Woods at Molong. Her husband William David Hinton predeceased her in 1994. The family includes three children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
