The Central Council of the Victorian Country Party denounced voluntary military training and voluntary national registration. It passed a resolution stating the Commonwealth could no longer rely on voluntary measures to protect national interests.
The Cormonwealth Tresauvery Mr Cesvy said last night that the Federal Governments new 83 million loan to finance works had been well received and the initial response was satisfactory.
